Fresh Air Handling Unit Installation for Hotel HVAC System

Morreston Limited recently completed designing, manufacturing, and installing a state-of-the-art supply and extract fresh air handling unit (AHU) system for a Holiday Inn hotel in Croydon.

The system, featuring a heat pump and heat recovery capabilities, was integrated with associated ductwork finished in Proclad and supported by various extract systems serving multiple areas throughout the hotel. 

This project exemplifies our expertise in offsite prefabrication, logistics management, and seamless onsite installation within a strict timeline.

The key requirements were:-

Offsite Prefabrication: Precision-engineered AHU and ductwork components prepared in a controlled environment for optimal quality. 

Haulage  Operation: Coordinated transport of the prefabricated components to the site. 

Crane Lift: Safely positioning the AHU unit and ductwork onto the hotel rooftop. 

Complete Site Installation: Comprehensive installation, including system connections, Proclad finishing, and integration with the hotel’s HVAC infrastructure.


We completed the project on schedule by leveraging offsite prefabrication and efficient onsite processes.
