How do Air Handling Units work?

• The AHU draws air from the building into the unit 

• The filter traps airborne particles such as dust, pollen, and other allergens.

• The coil cools or heats the air depending on the desired temperature.

• The heat exchanger then transfers heat from the air inside the building to the air outside.

• The air is then discharged back into the building, creating a comfortable indoor environment.

AHUs are ideal where there is a flow of people in large areas with limited natural ventilation, such as; convention & exhibition halls, hotels, gyms, function rooms & restaurants. They are also suitable options for hospitals and laboratories.
