Morreston are specialists in the replacement of failed heating or cooling coil batteries within you Air Handling Unit. Replacing heating or cooling coil battery can also include the replacement of the associated air handling unit casework section, as more often than not, this is often corroded or in poor condition.
Recently a major well known High Street department store instructed Morreston Ltd to replace two large Cooling Coil batteries and their associated casework, condense tray and eliminator sections. These units had been installed many years ago in the fifth floor of the building and accessing new equipment was extremely restricted. Morreston provided a complete site survey on the existing installation, then furthermore designed a complete new section which housed eight modular coil sections to match the required cooling duty. In house fabrication of new manifolded pipe work within the casework, to connect the modules, was also undertaken to enable connection to the existing chilled water mains.
Once built the whole assembly was” flat packed” for ease of delivery to the site. Morreston’s team of fully trained operatives, off loaded, assembled and positioned the new equipment in place. The old redundant equipment was then dismantled and removed from site and the new bespoke sections built ”in situ”.
